Synopsis:
Kate Cooper is a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens in New York City. Her friend Javi takes her back to the plains to test out an innovative new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens, the charmingly reckless social media superstar who enjoys posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous gear—the more dangerous, the better. As storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler, and their competing teams find themselves directly in the path of multiple storm systems converging over Oklahoma in what will be a fight for survival.
