Synopsis:
The theft of Helen (Diane Kruger) from her husband, King Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson), by the Trojan prince, Paris (Orlando Bloom), is an insult that cannot be tolerated. Family pride establishes that an affront to Menelaus is an affront to his brother Agamemnon (Brian Cox), the powerful king of Mycenae and leader of the Greeks who aims to conquer Troy. The walled city, under the command of King Priam (Peter O'Toole) and defended by the powerful Prince Hector (Eric Bana), is a fortress that no army has been able to penetrate. Only one man stands as the key to victory or defeat for Troy - Achilles (Brad Pitt), considered the greatest warrior alive. But he feels no loyalty to anyone or anything, except his own glory.
