Synopsis:
In order to collect a debt from the Public Administration, a small businessman named Artemio attends the International Prisoner's Day that is celebrated inside the Modelo prison in Valencia. The celebration, organized by Quintanilla, is a rather political event attended by the most representative authorities of the region, along with other personalities from the world of culture, finance or ecclesiastical power. While Quintanilla tries to make everything go smoothly, Artemio takes the opportunity to speak with the Undersecretary of Culture. Meanwhile, outside the facility, the escape of a mafia prisoner, Paolo Tornicelli, an influential Italian banker and head of a complex international network of criminal activities, is being planned. The officials are on the verge of striking and the inmates are one step away from mutiny. .
