Synopsis:
STARMAN is a story of romance and adventure in which an alien (Jeff Bridges) observing life on Earth becomes stranded near the Wisconsin farm of recently widowed Jenny Hayden (Karen Allen). The alien, also known as Starman, clones the human form of Scott Hayden, Jenny's deceased husband. His mothership is due to pick him up in three days at Meteor Crater, Arizona, and Starman is in desperate need of human help. So Jenny unwittingly embarks on a journey that turns into a perilous flight across America, while both are pursued by the U.S. military and secretly aided by a government agent (Charles Martin Smith). However, during the three-day journey, a strange and wonderful relationship develops between a confused human woman and a curious and determined alien, leading to a climactic encounter with Starman's mothership.
