Synopsis:
Elisabet, a famous theatre actress, is hospitalised after losing her voice during a performance. The diagnosis indicates that she is healthy, but she remains speechless. A nurse, Alma, takes care of her in a lonely little house by the sea. Elisabet's silence contrasts with Alma's intimate confessions. A singular, inexplicable relationship develops between the two women.
