Synopsis:
A man appears in the Texas desert with no memory of who he is. His brother comes looking for him and tries to make him remember his life four years earlier, when he abandoned his wife and child. As he regains his memory, he discovers a chance to rebuild his life.

  • Deleted Scenes with Optional Audio Commentary by Wim Wenders (24 min) - An exceptional montage of 22 deleted scenes that Wim Wenders himself is proud to have recovered. A wonderful documentary that includes more aerial shots of the film's iconic opening, conversations between Travis and his brother Walt and between Travis and the boy, close-ups of Nastassja Kinski in flashbacks, and a scene shot with the "La nuit américaine" effect.
  • Super 8 Images (7 min) - A collection of Super 8 images shot by Wenders himself, which expand on the sequence featured in the film. Through these images and the voiceover of Harry Dean Stanton as narrator, we see and hear the story of the love between Travis and Jane.
