Synopsis:
Once upon a time there was a beautiful and kind young woman named Cinderella, who was forced by her cruel stepmother and two stepsisters to take care of the hardest tasks in the palace, as if she were the last of the maids. It happened that the King's son held a great ball. Cinderella helped her selfish stepsisters dress and do their hair for the party. When they had gone, the poor girl began to cry bitterly because she too would have liked to go to the Prince's ball. But here his fairy godmother appeared to him, made a carriage out of a pumpkin, turned six little mice into as many horses, a rat into a fat coachman, and six lizards into elegant footmen. Then he touched Cinderella with his magic wand and her rags turned into sparkling dresses, and her espadrilles into beautiful glass slippers. But he warned him that, at the stroke of midnight, everything would return to reality.
