Synopsis:

Harvey Keitel, Mira Sorvino, and Willem Dafoe star in this twisted drama written and directed by the great Paul Auster ( The Music of Chance ) in his directing debut.

A jazz saxophonist is hit by a stray bullet and finds himself in possession of a mysterious stone that leads to a romance with an aspiring actress. A series of strange, dreamlike events take place that changes their lives forever.
