Synopsis:
The year is 2084 and Douglas Quaid (Arnold Schwanzenegger) is haunted by a repeated dream about a trip to Mars. A visit to a holiday lounge causes Quaid to recover memories that had been erased from his mind. Quaid discovers that he is, in fact, an important intelligence agent from Mars, who is now subject to the tyrannical rule of the traitor Vilas Cohaagen. Quaid's memory has been erased so that all vestiges of his knowledge of Cohaagen's plans disappear. Quaid outwit the Secret Police and returns to Mars where he is reunited with his former lover, Melina. Together they have to stop Cohaagen's diabolical plan and reveal the mysteries hidden in the heart of the planet.
