Synopsis:
Combining fantasy and science fiction in equal parts, The Vision of Escaflowne was one of the sensations of the nineties in Japan. The plot of this production has as its protagonist a young student with premonitory powers named Hitomi Kanzaki. As if she were a modern Alice, young Hitomi is magically transported to a mirror world known as Gaia. On this alternate Earth, society has stagnated in a medieval era while technological advances have been restricted to the military sphere. In this scenario, two powerful powers seek to gain absolute control of the planet, an objective in which Hitomi will find herself immersed. Without knowing how, she has been transported to Gaia to become the key that will decide the future of this world.
