Synopsis:
When a series of inexplicable events begins to worry the scientific community throughout the planet, Sigur Johanson, professor of marine biology, discovers in Norway an unknown glacial worm that threatens to destabilize continental slopes in the oceans and trigger tsunamis. Meanwhile, in France, molecular biologist Cécile Roche faces a deadly pathogen that is contaminating the waters. For his part, Leon Anawak, a young Canadian zoologist expert in cetaceans, tries to explain the unusual and dangerous behavior of some whales that have begun to brutally attack ships. Convinced that a new intelligent marine organism could be manipulating the environment to ensure its survival against humans, they join a group of experts on a risky mission to the icy depths of the ocean. Nobody believes them, but the human race could be on the brink of extinction without knowing it. They must convince the world of what is coming before it is too late.
