Elbow return with their tenth studio album, 'AUDIO VERTIGO'. Recorded throughout 2023 at the band's Migration Studios in Gloucestershire and completed at the band's Blueprint Studios, Salford, the album marks a significant change for the group following 'Flying Dream 1' in 2021. In the words of vocalist and lyricist Guy Garvey, "AUDIO VERTIGO" was built from "sleazy grooves created by jamming together in garages" and is more direct and sonically varied than its predecessor. Characterized by the band as an album full of clicking, swing and infectious funk rhythms, in "AUDIO VERTIGO" elbow are at the forefront, fusing their love for varied and diverse styles in a collection that goes from the meeting between Beastie Boys and Bonham in the first cut, "Things I've Been Telling Myself For Years", through a "future cop show theme" (Guy again) from the first single, 'Lover's Leap' to the infectiously funky, "Balu" .
