Synopsis:
Shaun's life is a dead end. He spends his time at the local pub, The Winchester, with his close friend Ed, argues with his mother and neglects his girlfriend, Liz. When Liz leaves him, Shaun decides to finally put his life in order. He has to win back his girlfriend's heart, mend his relationship with his mother and face the responsibilities of an adult. Unfortunately, the dead are coming back to life and devouring the living. For Shaun and his enthusiasm this is just one more obstacle. Facing a zombie epidemic without mercy armed with a cricket bat and a spade, Shaun, with Ed in tow, will try to rescue his mother, his stepfather, his girlfriend and her friends. This recent English film written and starring Simon Pegg, also writer and actor of the series Spaced, has been acclaimed by the public to the point of achieving a virtual cult status thanks above all to its intelligent script that mixes horror film and comedy.
