Synopsis:
Historic documentary by Antonio Giménez-Rico from 1983 that explores the lives and loves of a group of six transgender women who lived in Madrid in the 1980s. But more than that, it is a loving portrait of a culture that is finally emerging from the shadows after having been hidden for a long time. The director gave his protagonists the freedom to portray their own stories with their own friends and family, but in a stylized narrative framework with a script and magnificent photography by Teo Escamilla.
