Synopsis:
April 1, 1939. With the entry into Madrid of Franco's troops, the Spanish Civil War ended. Fearing the bloody repression that was coming, many Republicans fled the country, but others could not or would not, like the young girls protagonists of this true story. Franco promised that only those with blood on their hands would be punished. And none of those girls had them. They were arrested a month after the war ended. They suffered harsh police interrogations and were finally transferred to Ventas prison.
