Synopsis:
Following his parents' divorce, Ben is sent to live with his father for the summer and forced to work at the local marina. But the idyllic resort town offers him little solace, as he is forced to deal with the local privileged and his father's new girlfriend. Ben's problems become even more disturbing when he makes a chilling discovery about the family next door. A malevolent forest spirit has possessed the mother and begins to play a sinister game of mom and dad with the local children, erasing any trace of her existence. When his suspicions are ignored, Ben sets out on a dangerous quest to end the witch's reign of terror before she destroys everything he loves.
