Dorothy, who dreams of travelling "over the rainbow", sees her wish come true when a tornado sweeps her and her little dog into the world of Oz. But the adventure has only just begun: after offending the Wicked Witch of the West, on the advice of the Good Witch of the North, the little girl heads down the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City, home to the all-powerful Wizard of Oz, who can help her return to Kansas. During the journey, she befriends the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion. The Scarecrow wants a brain, the Tin Man wants a heart, and the Lion wants the courage he lacks; convinced that the Wizard can help them too, they decide to join Dorothy on her odyssey to the Emerald City.
