Synopsis:
Andrew Neiman is an ambitious young jazz drummer, absolutely focused on reaching the top within the elite East Coast music conservatory where he receives his training. Marked by the failure of his father's literary career, Andrew harbors dreams of greatness, longing to become one of the greats. Terence Fletcher, an instructor well known for both his talent and his terrifying teaching methods, leads the conservatory's best jazz ensemble. Fletcher discovers Andrew and the aspiring drummer is selected to be part of the musical ensemble he leads, forever changing the young man's life.
