Synopsis:
John Rambo, a Vietnam War hero back in the US, wanders from city to city in search of his former comrades in arms only to realize that he is the only one who has survived. As he prepares to cross a small town to eat, Sheriff Will Teasle arrests him for loitering. Imprisoned and mistreated by violent police officers, Rambo goes mad with rage and flees into the woods after injuring several officers. Harassed like an animal, the former Green Beret kills a police officer in self-defense. Since then, the local police and the national guard have deployed all their troops to find the fugitive. Colonel Trautman, Rambo's mentor, intervenes and tries to convince Rambo to turn himself in to end the conflict.

Synopsis:
Rambo is released from prison and sent back to present-day Vietnam. Their mission: to find out the whereabouts of American MIAs. The plan: skydive in a rugged jungle.
