Synopsis:
In Bedford Stuyvesant, one of the most humble neighborhoods in Brooklyn, live several black families, some Hispanics, a Vietnamese business couple, and an Italian-American family that owns a pizzeria. Mookie, a boy who works as a pizza delivery boy, knows the neighbors well and is a privileged witness not only of the daily life of the neighborhood, but also of the tensions and racism of some of its inhabitants.
