Synopsis:
When the son of Irina, a Ukrainian immigrant in the Czech Republic, is attacked, the entire city sympathizes with her family and condemns her Roma neighbors, who allegedly committed the crime. But soon another truth about the incident begins to emerge. A political campaign gains strength in the city, and different sectors manipulate reality for their own purposes. Truth and lies become difficult to differentiate. As a struggling mother trying to make a new life for herself in a foreign country, Irina has to deal with xenophobia, discrimination and prejudice around her. Torn between protecting her family and searching for the truth, she is ultimately forced to make a fateful decision.
