Synopsis:

Elisabet, a famous theater actress, is hospitalized after losing her voice during a performance. The diagnosis indicates that she is healthy, but she continues to not speak. A nurse, Alma, is in charge of taking care of her in a secluded little house by the sea. Elisabet's silence contrasts with Alma's intimate confessions. A singular, inexplicable relationship is established between the two women.
