Synopsis:
A small Kabuki theater troupe arrives in a fishing village in southern Japan. Years ago, their leader, Komajuro, had an affair with one of the villagers. From their brief union a child was born, Kiyoshi, who has no idea who his father is. But Kiyoshi isn't the only one Komajuro has kept in the dark. When Sumiko, the actress and Komajuro's current lover, discovers the existence of Kiyoshi and his mother, she decides to take revenge.
