Synopsis:

Mac is sent by an oil company to an idyllic Scottish village to buy all the property in the area in order to build a refinery. The townspeople see an opportunity to get rich, but the stubbornness of old Ben, a beach owner, prevents the deal. Meanwhile, Mac becomes immersed in a world and a way of life that ends up conquering him.
