Synopsis:
After a divorce, Jess, a young nurse, moves with her two children to her aunt's farm. His young son Owen is heartbroken when his dog disappears in the woods, scared by something. When the animal returns, it brings evil with it and attacks the child. The wounds heal, but Owen's condition worsens. As the days pass, Jess observes that the boy has developed an inexplicable thirst for blood and feeding it is the only cure for his ailment.
