Sinopsis:
Hollywood's quintessential screwball couple is back—and losing their minds in the name of love! In their eleventh screen pairing, William Powell and Myrna Loy bring their legendary, spark-filled chemistry to Love Crazy, a deliciously frantic marital comedy directed by Jack Conway. The story kicks off on the eve of Steve and Susan Ireland's fourth wedding anniversary. A series of innocent but catastrophic misunderstandings - amplified by a broken elevator, a pesty ex-girlfriend (Gail Patrick), and a meddling mother-in-law (Florence Bates) - shatters the happy couple's bliss, driving Susan to file for divorce.
Desperate to stall the legal proceedings and win back his furious wife, Steve hatches a wild, last-ditch scheme: He will legally play the part of a lunatic. Naturally, the plan spirals completely out of control, landing Steve in a sanitarium, triggering a sequence of outrageous escapes, and culminating in a legendary climax where Powell shaves his mustache to masquerade as his own fictitious sister. Co-starring Jack Carson and Sidney Blackmer, Love Crazy stands as a masterclass in relentless slapstick energy and high-society absurdity.
